Terms and Conditions for Providing Documentation to Science AI

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the submission of documentation to Science Retail Inc. d/b/a Science On Call (“Company”), which provides AI-powered services (“Science AI”). By submitting documentation, you agree to these Terms.
2. Data Usage and Retention
2.1 By providing documentation to Science AI, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze the documentation for the purpose of providing AI-powered services.
2.2 The Company retains the right to store and use anonymized data derived from submitted documentation for training and improving Science AI. All personally identifiable information will be removed before such use.
3. Data Deletion
3.1 If you do not sign up for a paid plan at the end of the demo period, the Company will delete your submitted documentation from its systems.
3.2 Anonymized data used for AI training and improvement will be retained, but all personally identifiable information will be removed.
4. Confidentiality and Security
4.1 The Company will take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality and security of the submitted documentation.
4.2 The Company is not responsible for any unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of data that occurs due to factors beyond its control.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 The Company provides Science AI “as is” and makes no warranties regarding its performance or accuracy.
5.2 The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of Science AI or submission of documentation.
6. Changes to Terms
6.1 The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of Science AI after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
